Mobile Web-App Development
This month Pascal Rettig will be talking about Mobile App / Game Development with Javascript. His company have recently placed several Javascript app's in the App Store and will offer some useful insights for JavaScript developers looking to publish their work online.
This presentation will cover topics like Appcelerator + PhoneGap, and a little of ImpactJS and JavascriptCore.
Starting Next Month
Starting in September, we'll have three back-to-back "back to basics" JavaScript meetups. If you're a competent Object Oriented programmer, and looking to jumpstart your JavaScript, don't miss next month's "Advanced JavaScript Fundamentals". Based on your feedback, we'll tailor the next two meetups to specifically address your most pressing concerns. See you there!
This Month
Our August JavaScript Meetup will be held on Thursday 25th at Microsoft NERD Research Center located at One Memorial Drive in Cambridge. There is also parking available at a cheap evening rate in the building. Parking is also free on the street in front of the building at 6 PM.
Talk begins aprox. 6:45-7:15pm
After the presentation | demonstration, we will go around the room introducing ourselves and asking the group for advice | opinions on any JavaScript-related issues members are facing.
