Boston JS

#29 – November 17th, 2011 @ 6:30 pmJavaScript Style, Code Conventions & QualitySignedOn - 373 Washington Street, 02128, Boston MA

Join us this month for an in-depth talk on JavaScript-style, code-conventions and code-quality, presented by Joe Morgan.

Coding style varies from developer to developer, with debates raging on even the most minor of syntax choices. A series of widely-adopted conventions have arisen from this chaos--rules that, when followed, help to produce less bug-prone code. I'm going to be speaking on JavaScript style, convention, code quality, and the tools that help keep us on track.

This month's meetup will be held at SignedOn. Parking is available across the street at 33 Arch: If you are coming by train, SignedOn is located right next to to Down-Town Crossing, and is very easy to get to from the Blue, Orange, Red and Green lines: http://signedon.com/contact.html

Pizza and drinks will be provided as usual. Doors open at 6:30pm, and the talk begins aprox. 6:45-7:15pm

After the presentation | demonstration, we will go around the room introducing ourselves and asking the group for advice | opinions on any JavaScript-related issues members are facing.

Please RSVP and bring guests. :)
