#50 – June 30th, 2014 @ 7:45 pmMaking relational cool againChristopher Columbus Waterfront Park - 105 Atlantic Ave., Boston MA

Tim Griesser, author of Knex and Bookshelf (Node SQL query builder and ORM respectively), will speak to us about the state of relational database abstraction libraries in JavaScript.

Tim will talk to us about the what and why of the Bookshelf.js and Knex.js libraries, and unpack how features like transactions and promises can help keep consistency in the "everything async" world of node js.
